This policy covers two kinds of information. First, information you give Webformer as our customer. Second, information collected on websites we build and host for our customers, such as bookings, messages and reviews. For the second kind, the business that owns the site decides how it is used, and we hold it on their behalf.
We never receive or store your payment card details. Those go directly to Stripe, our payment processor.
When someone uses a site we host, the site may collect:
This information is held for the business that owns the site, shown on that business's owner page, and sent to them by email. We do not use it for our own marketing.
The business details and preferences you submit are used to generate your site's content, including processing by an AI service (Anthropic) to write and design page copy. Placeholder images may be created or chosen by image tools. This is solely to produce your website. It is not used to train any model or shared beyond what is needed to generate your site.
We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Completed sites are not publicly featured by default. If we would like to include your site in our public showcase or reviews, we will ask you first.
Visitors to customer sites are counted with a single tracking pixel. It does not use cookies, does not identify individual visitors, is not shared with any ad network, and is not used for advertising profiles.
Site owners who sign in to their owner page get small functional cookies that keep them signed in and keep their own visits out of the counts. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We keep your project information and files for as long as needed to deliver and support your site. Information collected on a customer site is kept until the site owner asks us to delete it or the site is removed. Copies may remain in backups for a limited time afterward. You can request deletion at any time.
You can ask us what information we have about you, request a correction, or request deletion at any time. If your information was collected on a customer site, we may direct your request to that business.
Our service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
